Wanting to stay away from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist central Seminyak? We would recommend the laid back sandy beach town of Sanur. Offering a diverse selection of Sanur restaurants, cafes and watering holes; now would be the perfect chance to make a change and explore what family-friendly Sanur has to offer. With the help of our list below you will no longer need to say “I’m Hungry in Sanur.. Where Should I Go?”
Cosmic Diner Sanur
Perfect for taking the kids on a time-warp back to the 60s with their diner’s retro-feel. Vinyl booths, Danny Zuko fashion and black checked floors are what you will find whilst you sip on your thickshakes and fresh OJ. With claims for serving the best wagyu beef burgers in town and a menu of American influence, it’s easy to see why people can’t get enough of Cosmic Diner.

Massimo
If you have been on holiday to Sanur chances are you are familiar with Massimo’s authentic Italian eatery. Said by the creator, Massimo himself “I don’t do fancy food. I just love to carefully pick my produce and ingredients. That’s how you get meals that taste real.” You can understand why it has stood for years as a favourite with just about everyone. Just like a bowl of fresh pasta and a fine wine go well together, a meal for you and your family or large group at Massimo’s will perfectly suit. If fine dining is what you are after, Massimo is the pinnacle of Sanur restaurants.

Whether you want to be on the beach or hold a meeting in the restaurant choose from one of their two locations. We personally love Soul on the Beach for it’s relaxed vibes, beautiful views of Sanur’s coastal beaches and sand between our toes as we munch on our breakfast. If you are feeling something sweet try the ‘Sweet Old Salty’ – let’s just say it’s french toast with a twist. This is one of our favourite Sanur restaurants.

Bamboo Bar & Lounge
We suggest getting here before midday to score one of their canopy day beds perched on the Mertasari beach. The idyllic white sandy beach with ocean views beyond the reef surf break in Sanur, ideal both couples and large groups. We love ordering a wood-fired pizza lunch to your day bed whilst watching the various water sports gliding across the water. Ask one of the staff to crack open a fresh coconut for you or if you are ever so inclined a refreshing cocktail from their extensive menu.
