If you are a Bali first-timer or frequent flyer you would have heard of the popular town of Seminyak. Known for setting the trend in Bali for high quality restaurants, cafes as well as shopping. We recommend starting your Seminyak shopping adventure on Jalan Raya Seminyak, about 50-metres before Bintang Supermarket as you can find just about everything from homewares, accessories, fashion clothing and art pieces at a variety of price points.
ABANG
What is it? White and cream women cotton wall art, cushion covers, throw blankets, table runners, home wares and decor can be found at ABANG. Located just 50-metres from Bintang Supermarket.
Why go? You will get really great deals at affordable prices (because you are setting what you are willing to pay) when you put in the work to barter with the sellers. Don’t be discouraged by having to barter, this is just as much of a game and fun experience for them as it is for you during your Seminyak shopping adventure.
Favourite Buy: A straw woven handbag in a unique shape. They have circle, oval, square, and a mail box version which we prefer due to the style as well as use-friendly nature being able to fit a phone, wallet and keys without playing a game of tetris.
Biasa
What is it? Resort wear for the sophisticated man or woman.
Why go? Timeless resort wear in linens and natural materials that are perfect for humid tropical climates and beach holidays. Walking through their open plan space is a similar feeling to a boutique art gallery with clothing sprinkled throughout. You will find that their apparel has a variety of cuts and styles different to brands of similar calibre.
Favourite Buy: You can’t go wrong with a simple white linen shirt and pant for men whilst a camel leather slide is our choice for women.
Ule Escale A Bali
What is it? Beautifully sourced home decor with a unique and unusual take on pairings of furniture.
Why go? If you are looking to add character and style to your home this is the place to come and shop. Whether you are looking to furnish your home or just add uniquely sourced accessories for a point of difference to your current style, Ule Escale A Bali has stylish homeware for pretty much any occasion.
Favourite Buy: We currently have our eye on their lamps and chandeliers in woven cane and straw. They are design we have not yet seen else where in Bali.
Bamboo Blonde
What is it? Ready to wear clothing for the young woman on the go, wanting the latest in trends and style whilst not compromising on comfort.
Why go? Constantly adding new styles to their stores, as well as an affordable price point for the modest traveller. If you’re lucky you can usually score some great finds at a barefoot travellers price in their sale section.
Favourite Buy: Their wrap dresses are flattering and vibrant in colours providing an effortless look whilst on the go with limited time to get ready for that dinner with the girls or sunset drinks with your loved one.
Wanderlust
What is it? Challenging the status quo by making swimwear designs to suit all body shapes and sizes.
Why go? Modern designs and attention to detail when in the design process certainly pays off for us as customers when trying on Wanderlust’s swimwear. The ladies that work in this shop are also very attentive and helpful when you are trying on styles (which let’s face it, can sometime be a daunting process to put on multiple bikini’s).
Favourite Buy: We like the Alexis bottom for its flattering waist and cheeky cut. Being that all items are sold as separates it’s also great for mixing and matching styles and colours.

My Mini
What is it? Stylish minimalistic women’s accessories and girls clothing. A great all-rounder for Seminyak shopping.
Why go? This store won’t be for everyone as it is paired back and carries a limited range. We however LOVED the toddler and girls dresses with their bright prints and fun patterns. Their sizing also ranges from 1 – 6 years.
Favourite Buy: Black girls polka-dot dress with pink trim. Can convert a top to be worn with leggings with age as under the arms is stretchable elastic.
Palm Lagoon
What is it? Bright surf style apparel ranging from kids to adults sizing.
Why go? Beachy styles designed for comfort and the person on the go. If you are looking for swimwear, summer dresses or board-shorts Palm Lagoon will be able to take care of you.
Favourite Buy: Kids mini thongs (flip-flops) and summer dresses that are currently changing over with the new seasons stock. We also were tempted by their woven beach bag with a pop of colour, pictured below.
Magali Pascal
What is it? Easy to wear women’s clothing styles with French influence by designer Magali Pascal.
Why go? A fresh take on the modern bohemian, we love their current season’s frills and moveable fashion pieces, allowing for both style and comfort in humid climates.
Favourite Buy: The elegance of a white crisp style called the Catrina mini dress.

What is it? A lifestyle and furniture showroom featuring contemporary pieces.
Why go? Through the help of a stylist you can walk away with furnishings that are unique and locally made. The time and care taken to ensure superb craftsmanship is evident as you browse their store.
Favourite Buy: We love the inspiration that you find by walking through their showroom. There are multiple living and dining spaces that they have set for you to choose pieces from or walk away with the whole package.

Body & Soul
What is it? A go to store to find cocktail, casual and summer dresses to suit almost any occasion.
Why go? Great cocktail dresses in a variety of styles and colours at a moderately affordable price. We find that the quality suits the price point, however sizing does sometime run small so be mindful your standard size may vary.
Favourite Buy: A new season olive, knee length cocktail dress in a soft and breathable fabric.
After all this Seminyak shopping we couldn’t go past recommending a place for a bite to eat. If you are finishing up at the Double Six end of Jalan Raya Seminyak, we recommend grabbing a quick bite to eat at Dod’s (@dodsburgerbali). They make burgers freshly grilled to order with a variety of flavours.
